In late August 2020, we initiated a pioneering initiative in the realm of Legal Technology, aiming to spread awareness about legal technology amongst law students and lawyers. The LegalTech Writing Workshop, our flagship event, marked a significant milestone, attracting a diverse assembly of lawyers and legal tech enthusiasts worldwide.From August 29th to 31st, this workshop offered an immersive experience through Zoom sessions that seamlessly integrated legal knowledge with cutting-edge tech insights. The highlight was the participation of Magnus Lindberg, a LegalTech visionary and co-author of “The LEGALTECH Book”. His guidance on LegalTech writing was instrumental in deepening the attendees’ understanding of the field.

Our workshop emphasised active engagement over passive learning. Participants delved into hands-on writing tasks, lively debates on the implications of AI in law, and brainstorming sessions that explored new frontiers in legal technology. This interactive approach was pivotal in fostering a deeper comprehension of LegalTech’s potential in reshaping legal practices.A unique feature of our workshop was the certification of participants as LegalTech writers. Through the completion and expert evaluation of their assignments, attendees not only expanded their knowledge but also earned recognition for their newly acquired LegalTech writing skills.
